Hi y’all…

And it’s monday…  not just any monday but Cyber Monday.

Contrary to the title, I don’t really hate cyber monday… but what is it?

Like black friday, cyber monday is when eBay, Amazon.com and other retailers with online stores have sales.

While I would’ve liked to have checked out some of the deals today, I was only able to scrape up enough to get 2 items during the black friday sales.

Hopefully, I’ll be able to find something next month as more sales will probably be coming up.

For those that aren’t interested in Cyber Monday, if the internet seems slow keep in mind there’s dozens of people online usually at the same time on this particular day. So checking emails might take longer than normal even with broadband. Also restarting a browser or the computer itself can help speed things up. But  please, allow time for it to boot up before pressing a button.

More posts to come…

See ya on Wednesday!

The lost friday…

Hey folks,

Well it’s that day everyone waits for… friday!

For years, black friday has been the one day of the year retailers have bargain basement deals, from pet supplies to big flat screen TVs.

While I don’t exactly shop for items like these, I go to black friday sales as a way of stocking up on art supplies.

In 2010, I not only got art supplies but other items on my list.

2011 was about the same.

Still, it’s worth it. One way I avoid the crowds is by going an hour or so after the stores open. Why? well since I don’t go for the most wanted items or door busters there’s no need of camping out at midnight or getting up at 5:00 am.

Plus most of the stuff on my list still on the shelf by the time I get there.

Well, I’ve checked the ads and made my list.

Will post how things went for this year.

See ya on Monday!

Hey y’all,

It’s Wednesday.

Tomorrow begins the start of a 4-day weekend.

I’m looking forward to it as I plan to catch up writing, work on my art and get some much-needed rest.

Hopefully I’ll be able to scrape up a few bucks for at least one sale during Black friday.

Will post how that goes.

See ya on Friday!

Hi all,

With November being Native American Heritage month, Adopt-a-senior pet-month and National Novel Writing Month, there’s been different topics and events trending about all three. For one thing, I’ve got native american heritage in my family(see previous post), one of my dogs is a senior pet(he’s seven) and once again I’m participating in National novel-writing month.

I’m hoping to finish this year but if not then, I’ll just catch during the sister writing challenge, Camp NaNoWriMo which is usually held in the Summer.

For those that a participating this month it’s a great way to get back into writing if you’ve been out of practice like I have.

So, get it on paper, or type it up on your laptop, desktop or Ipad.

Well, that’s it for now and it’s the start of the weekend.

See ya on Monday!
