Hey folks,

I’m doing much better now, better than I’ve felt in a long time… well, since I had the flu at least.

Anyway, it’s been a pretty good week.

Talked with a couple of friends who I had been keeping update about finding my Beagle, Rudy and getting her back. Both were encouraging which meant a lot to me.

I won’t go into details but let’s just say it looks promising.

Apart from that today’s the last day of summer.

Good bye long sunny days, ice-cold lemonade and vacation, hello short cool days, hot chocolate and school.

I’ll admit I’m bummed about summer ending since this is the second summer in row that I didn’t make it to comic-con. But overall, this year didn’t go as well as I hoped but I plan to spend fall and winter making up for lost time.

I’ve also got some things planned for the coming season so stay tuned!

See ya in the Fall!

And… it’s well, I think it’s safe to say everyone knows it’s Friday. As for the title mentioned above, it’s a quote from the Disney film, Pooh’s Grand Adventure: The search for Christopher Robin. Growing up it was one of my favorite films. I know two other quotes from this movie one of which is: “You’re braver than you believe and stronger than you seem and smarter than you think”.

Today marks the first day of Fall with yesterday being the last day of Summer(hence today’s blog title).

Fall brings back many great memories but also some sad ones including the recent passing of Mr. Earl Kress and another friend of mine, my first dog, Sienna(1992-2004).  What do these two have in common? both inspired my written work. Listed below are just a few of the writers who’ll receive an ‘honorable mention’ in my work-in-progress project, Storywriting 101.

List of writers who have inspired me:

Bill Cosby

Maya Angelou

Earl Kress

Dwayne McDuffie

Paul Dini

Kevin J. Anderson

and more.

At some point, I will post more about these writers in October.  In the meantime, take a look at the photos posted below.
