Hey folks!

Decided to try a new title for a blog post, this one is based on a weather forecast.

Well, here’s how the weekend went.

Got only 3 hours of sleep prior to my flight to Long Beach which was… horrible! No, I mean it. There was turbulence for most of the ride due to strong high winds. Got there and the ground was wet and it was colder than cold outside, all of which didn’t help me in trying to shake off what felt like a cold coming on.

From October to March, I always go to great lengths to avoid catching a cold or flu. My immune system’s strong but I still get sick like anyone else. I’ll say this, I got my last flu shot probably 15 years ago. Since then I’ve had the flu 2-3 times and each time I’ve recovered faster than the previous time. But enough about that…

Getting back to where I was…

Got off the plane, waited at baggage claim and got picked up a few minutes later. Grabbed lunch at In-N-Out and went back to my sister’s place.

Overall, it was a long weekend. Let’s just say, I gladly volunteer staying in a hotel and instead of flying, I’ll be traveling by car. Flying’s not my cup of tea.(No offense to anybody that enjoys it, mind you).

On a happier note, I did visit an old family friend, which was a ray of sunlight despite the rain outside.

Will continue to post how my week goes.

See ya on Wednesday!

I keep holding on!

Yes, I like that song as you can probably tell.

Anyway, with so much to do before I hit the road, chances are this’ll be my last post until I return.

If I have access to a computer with internet I may post a brief update.

I’m hoping a change in scenery will make a difference for me and  maybe get  some fresh ideas for stories and characters.

Each year, I add at least maybe five or more new characters to my cast and so far this year, I don’t really have anything new other than the father of  my Coywolf(Coyote/Wolf) character, now has a name,(Kenji) and I’m working on members of Mina the Brazilian tracker dog’s family.

Aside from that I’m both excited and nervous. I watched Alpha and Omega which was I have to say a good movie but I did find myself comparing the film’s plot and characters to my own.

Hopefully being at the horse ranch will take my mind off of the list of things I need to do.

Stay tuned for updates.

See ya later!

It’s Wednesday again and yes I know I didn’t update on Friday as planned mostly because I was traveling and didn’t have a chance to access the business center at the hotel on Friday for different reasons. But I have to say comic con was… great! it was all that and a bag of chips and was somewhat different from what I expected and read about but in a good way. To make up for not posting last Friday(this would’ve been friday’s post) and this past Monday I’ll be doing updates Thursday through Saturday and will return to my regular posting schedule next Monday. But for now here’s how my traveling went.

Thursday-Pre comic con day 1

I literally burned the midnight oil, packing, printing things for my trip and doing a little cleaning up. I stopped around 2:30 am and woke up again about an hour later to get ready for the cab to take my Mom and I to the airport. A trip to baggage check in and a walk through security later we got to the gate and the sun was coming up! I took a cat nap until we got ready to board the plane and well I have to say I can’t stand flying(no offense to anyone who loves it). Sure, Superman makes it look fun and easy but I’ve never been fond of planes not since 9/11 and the other problems airlines have dealt with since then. So moving on, the rest of the day went smoothly. It felt good to be back on California soil. With that being said stay tuned for my next post:

San Diego comic con part 1.

In the meantime just thought I’d post some of my favorite clips from the MTV reality show “Rob and Big”

Excuse the cussing and bleeping in some of the clips. I don’t use this kind of language myself but these clips were too funny. I must’ve watched them a hundred if not a thousand times and they’re hilarious! As precaution please don’t watch these while eating or drinking anything, I don’t want to be responsible for anyone choking while watching these clips. Aside from that grab a Kleenex(you’re gonna need ’em!) to wipe your eyes from laughing. And another thing your sides may hurt from laughing, I recommend watching these clips with a friend or when you’re having a bad day and need some cheering up. At this point, just sit back, relax and enjoy the show:

Rob & Big- Net gun clip(full version)

Rob &  Big- Meaty on a sugar high

Rob & Big- Attack of Rob in a Fat Suit

I cracked up when I saw this one for the first time. Decided to post it mostly ’cause of comic con and ironically I saw a guy dressed up as Spiderman while at the San Diego comic con:

Rob & Big- Spiderman

 See ya tomorrow!
